Measure Twice – Cut Once 

A Basic How-To for Measuring for Your Order 

One of the unique services offered by Western Maine Screen Doors is our customizations. We’ll create doors in whatever height, width or depth you need. However, the perfect customization is only as good as the measurements you provide us. We encourage you to follow these instructions so we can make sure to deliver a perfectly fit door, shutter or flooring for your needs.

**Prices cover door sizes up to 36″ wide and 84″ tall. But keep in mind that we can accommodate for any sizes necessary. Our standard thickness is 1 1/16", but we can make it to your desired thickness.

Guideline One

Remember to leave 1/8 of an inch between the screen door and the frame.

Guideline Two

If the opening is out of square it is best to order the door a little larger so it can later be custom fit.
